I've never understood what people see (well above the neck) in Australian rugby player Johnathan Thurston, though I can well understand the interest some women and Billy Slater have in a shirtless Cooper Cronk.

When they take your Aussie Rules team photos you can look stern like Luke Hodge, look puzzled like Lance Franklin, look thoughtful like Sam Mitchell, or look camp like Shane Crawford.

You post some English cricketers and then someone wants some Australians, well here's wicket keeper Mark Boucher in the sea (just) and a posing Brett Lee who just happened to get into speedos when launching an underwear line.

When you are successful in the pool you get asked to do some modelling, Filippo Magnini [his site] got to lift up his arm for Armani, whilst my favourite Austrian swimmer [his site] Markus Rogan got to sit around in Italian squares in shorts and stand around in speedos. I'm not sure what he's modelling here though it could be a form of punishment.

Spain's Aschwin Wildeboer sits well, his brother Olaf is quite nice [his site], American Aaron Peirsol has an oddly shaped bulge, Norwegian swimmer Aleksander Hetland thinks he's in a bad aftershave advert, and Jake thinks South African Roland Schoeman looks better from the nipples down.

Michael Lewis is of all things an Israeli model and has an interest in anatomy, his own.

It's not that hard to see what might be interesting me about South African high jumper Jacques Freitag as it's head on, but with American decathlete Tret Hardee you need a side view. Libor Zilka just got cut off. German decathlete Pascal Behrenbruch [his site] plus some Dutch, Germans, Danes, Belorussians, Ukrainians, and Russians decathletes bond and run around together. When Pascal is shirtless it is often hard to concentrate on his chest. Pascal is one of the reasons I think lycra is such a good invention.

And Australian Rules players Bachar Houli has a nice behind, Jack Grimes and Addam Maric look out of place, Brent Moloney might be a big boy, Dawson Simpson shows some leg, and Jared Rivers with his top off.

Three Boys

American has the Karshners but we have the often shirtless Gregory triplets [their site], Eliot, Julian, and Ryan from behind.

From Holland comes the statuesque shirtless water polo player Casper Landeweerd wearing very little, cutesome pole vaulter Dennis Goossens shirtless plus his little package, and decathlete Pelle Rietveld [his site] shirtless and leaving little to the imagination. As it's totally the wrong season here's some athletes, American javalian thrower Breaux Greer [his MySpace] shirtless with a friend, shaved, and getting inked, countryman runner Andrew Rock is a developed chap, Chip Heuser isn't as, Australian Adam Miller seems to have been shrink wrapped into his kit, whilst Craig Mottram has nice legs.

Grown up former boy boybanders Aaron Renfree shirtless, and Calvin Goldspink showing a bit of hair.

Canadian actor Shaun Sipos sadly got all waxed for his latest movie role but stayed hairy (ish (well it depends on the shot from shading to a pelt)) for his interest positioning in the Complete Savages. A bit of waxing wouldn't stop me jumping in the pool and savaging him.

Lightened Boy

A bit of looking and I find Aussie rugby player Berrick Barnes in only swim shorts, which needed some lightening. Berrick also got shirtless with Adam Ashley Cooper, and other assorted rugby beef. And here's Stephen Hoiles.

Kenneth has actor Cheyenne Jackson in his underwear.

Broadway actor Brandon Ruckdashel [his site and MySpace] who seems to only take parts which involve him getting his kit off or even getting naked. Brandon might just make theatre worth watching.

And Jake wanted British TV presenter Adrian 'umm yes' Dickinson.

A Good Mix of Boys

I don't see the attraction of British soap actor Charlie Clements even though he is dressed in only a bow tie and champagne bottle which is odd as I have a mild thing for Kaiser Chief Ricky Wilson. I do like fellow British actor Joe Armstrong who seems to have to be tied up every time he's shirtless on Robin Hood. American actor Johnny Pacar [his MySpace] as near as I can find him to being shirtless.

Greg wanted to share his screencaps of the shirtless fluff in the film Thunderbirds so much he put their names on it.

For David Australian rugby playing blond Berrick Barnes who does interesting poses and has rock hard nipples.

And Cornish model and reality star Albert Mordue minus his top.

Cold Boys

For some strange (but enjoyable) Aussie Rules players have to get their clothes off and stand in water. Some wear shorts like Jacob Surjan and Chad Cornes, or speedos which can be worn both on the beach like Daniel Pratt demonstrates or in the pool as with Russell Robertson. Some even wear white shorts, or silly nationalist tattoos and have their names in the file name.

Mike sent me actor William Gregory Lee all chained to the roof with his top off, which if you are going to be chained up is probably the way to go. I believe the screencaps come from Dante's Cove, though don't quote me.

And Kip Gamblin, Australian actor and ballet dancer, who used to get his top off regularly on Home and Away (as does most of the cast). The trick of shirtless acting is to look passable and not like you have been at the pies.

Ubiquitous Boy

Even though he's everywhere nowadays as Mike sent them here's Zac Efron shirtless in a swimming pool.

Couldn't Mr Gay Brazil be in something more inventive than underwear?

If you don't like British athletes the rest of this post might be a tad boring. David Beckham doesn't have that bad a body for someone who has reached the stage of having his own after shave, and he might even have a bulge.

Kenneth has a lot of stars and 'stars' in their underwear or 'skivvies' as he puts it.

Asked for, some shirtless pictures of Aussie Rules player David Spriggs, and somebody wanted Will Mellor in leather tied to a bed, as a request that is.

Gregory Capra has employed another bit of beef.

I'm not expert on promoting things but if you are going to get models to stand or wander around in tight underwear they have to be able to fill things, otherwise people won't be concentrating on the beef but the small portion of meat and two veg.

Stroked Boy

Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones gives soap actor Matt Di Angelo a good stroke (if the gif moves).

British actor, model, and 1980s haircut, Ben Parr, son of John, finally seems to have got a decent haircut and nice nipples, even when he is dressed up as a cliche.

Volleyballer Gilberto Godoy Filho seems to be able to fly.
