Alfie Browne-Sykes has left Hollyoaks so will probably be keeping his top on and have on screen brothers that look like him (he does look like Charlie Wernham but not Fabrizio Santino). To make up for it here he is in one of his plot vital shirtless scenes.

Having mostly ditched the oddly popular swirly hairstyle but not the standing in underwear American model Adam Scott Miller still happily has a boy next doorness with a bit of dork which shows through sometimes. I don't think he can pull off frontiersman.

If I was sharing a bed with stubbly Keegan Joyce (goodly package there) I wouldn't be as dressed or as glum as Josh Thomas is in the Aussie series Please Like Me.

Canadian actor Jacob Blair has played roles in which he's been a pugilistically period hipster, carries buckets, with chronic hair waves, and where the focus is clearly elsewhere.

In the now defunct Wicked City Ed Westwick did his best brief wearing medallion man work with full use of his 'I want to shag you' (in my head at least) look but still nobody watched. Ed is good at playing morally vacant strokable characters so the part should have been perfect.

Tanked Boy

Reece Milne is a recent addition to the often topless male flesh (at least they're an excuse for it) on Aussie soap Home and Away. For the genre Reece is not that wooden and has a lot of advantages.

To prove that he could be photographed wearing clothes Nyle DiMarco aired his underarm, adds to a painting, and as an strangely angry action figure.

It might be pants but Rob Mayes appeared topless with an equally undressed Diego Boneta and Ethan Peck in the unoriginal film Eden. Sadly Rob doesn't bond with Diego or Ethan (nor both).

British actor Paul Luebke's ample chest foliage becomes an issue when trying to stick on the sensors in the British medical soap Casualty.

Boys who Suggest

Just think what British gym fluff (L-R) Brinn Bevan and Nile Wilson (or me) could do with someone like Max Whitlock who can do this.

In space no one can hear your chest hair scream as with Steven Strait's whose ample pelt has vanished (yes they waxed it that much Steven) in scifi series The Expanse. Furry in Miami Steven does his best and suggests the same thing as if you moved Jeffrey Dean Morgan to the right.

Jamie Elliott (who got the other half of Marely Williams' tattoo) is an Aussie Rules player who covers his trail unlike fellow player Jordan de Goey.

Aussie ruggerer Karl Lawton does what his brother Kayne did when he played and that is to model underwear and swimwear. Being different young Karl if often candidly photographed with an assortment of cute (and excited?) beefy chaps. Karl also wants his body to be well photographed even when damp.

Carrying on the 'my grandfather was a famous actor' tradition of flesh display is furry Ethan Peck (and his sexy eyes) to who manages to grow a beard but stay fully manscaped on a desert island (must have priorities) in the film Eden. Ethan also highlights what might go on if a group of young chaps is left alone with little to do.

And it's not totally clear what's going on in Aussie Dylan Murnane's football shorts but it looks large.

Boy Minus a Letter

Furry Aussie actor Wil Traval has a cute scruffiness to him which works in some parts but not others and isn't helped by the blonded hair or the poor lighting though the underwear choice is good.

Some people have sad faces, some happy but American model and now actor Christian James has a confused one (might be the eyebrows) yet he was topless (but heavily waxed) in a film called Dollface. Christian does do a very good job filling underwear.

Blond and blue eyed American model and sort of (in the being pretty, blond and saying nothing way) actor Nathan Peterson has fortunately ditched the hat kept the beefy mates.

Keegan Joyce is a furry chested Australian actor who looks wonderfully uncomfortable but bulging in bed with Josh Thomas in the series Please Like Me. Keegan you take the boxers off before assuming the position (one could create an access path I suppose).

Kiwi actor Ryan o'Kane goes skinny dipping in Mary: The Making of a Princess allowing a good view of his behind. Ryan plays Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark as rather goofy and often topless.

On Chicago Fire Steven R McQueen can't take off his top (or put it on, one of the two) and put on a towel in order to fiddle around with a toothbrush without being disturbed. Some poor person had to rub make up all over Steven's body scribblings to cover them up.

Jamie Senegal is a mildly camp American wrestler who looks like a strong wind might blow him over and hasn't worked out he should be in the ring but he looks like he does win things.

American actor and model Jeff Ryan vaguely shows his assets front and back (you pay him to get naked then give him a top that looks like a lampshade) in Orange is the new Black. Here is Jeff more dressed and hairwaved.

Adding to the pretty psychopaths that appear on the roadsides of America is Teddy Sears' character in the film Curve. In my experience there has been a noticeable lack of cute chaps who will happily take off their tops to mend you car on US highways. Nice to see Teddy better undressed than he often is.

Boys in search of a Collective Noun

A group of volleyballers stand in a stream in just their shorts and extras dressed up as Egyptians (I think).

Like a reality contestant (Dustin 'can you see my nipple' McNeer in this example) who just wanders though with his top off the heavily armpit displaying (trimmed?) chalky American gymnast Danell Leyva knows how to pose in and out of his kit when a camera is around but not always when performing.

And Game Of Thrones' Kit Harington gives a cracking performance (poor pun intended) in Doctor Faustus.

Get a Happy Role Boy

Matt Levett plays, as you can see, a modest and unassuming lifeguard in the film Drown. The film isn't pleasant but there is fur slabbed Matt in speedos.

Nick Graham (L) the AFLer of changing levels of blondness shows a touch of crack, trims (with a strimmer), and makes things too easy punwise.

Bed haired or is it a breaking hairwave German actor Jannis Niewöhner spread out on a bed in his boxers with his mid chest copse on display. Jannis has a good rear aspect if you were wondering.

And British gymnast Max Whitlock looks sexy with his shirt or rather gym top off.

Lanky Boy

R5's sporty (in the wrong places) and treasure copsed Rocky Lynch can make fishing somewhat pun worthy and needs to cover up something (or put his hand there for another reason).

American model who acts by standing around topless Hunter Clowdus could easily play the solid blond not too bright farm boy who after working with the soil puts what is in his underwear to good use in the barn or solid, blond, more furry, not too bright surfer boy who uses a VW camper instead.

For some reason here's Hollyoaks' Parry Glasspool taking a picture of himself naked in a bathroom  mirror. Not original but commendable all the same.

And Quantico's Graham Rogers spends most of his time 'acting' in just a towel on the show and I bet he thought he's left roles that were just visual.

Aussie Rulers Marcus Davies and Nick Graham air their armpits as Jake Carlisle leaves the sea with chunky Taylor Garner who is welcoming in another way.

The occasionally bearded and public navel displayer with nice legs Jason Ashby is shirtless alone (and chilly), with a few others, and a lot (a noticeable lack of females).

And the mildly goofy ginger bulger Nick Vlastuin nearly has fun on the pitch and is shirtless here.

Double Boys

To bond, South African swimmer Chad le Clos strokes the back of Hungarian Laszlo Cseh's head and ruggers from the island of Ireland Paddy Jackson and Tommy Bowe dress up as superheroes.

Christian Petracca is a nicely formatted Aussie Rules player who gets shirtless and trimmed on his holidays and when training with a cute chap. Fellow Ruler Jake Carlisle who gets in a muddle putting a top on (easy solution is not to do so) thinking it is a glove is shirtless in the sea and on the pitch.

And occasionally diving model Chris Mears can fill all types of speedos (though swimmers would be a change).
