With Z Boys
The movie tonight is the shower scene from homoerotic flick Beastly Boyz.
The US TV network here! is doing 'a gothic, refreshingly alternative adaptation' of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven directed by homoerotic horror director David DeCoteau (he 'directed' the above). I've read that poem (OK watched the Simpons version) a number of times and I never got that the Raven was a metaphor for a half naked bloke in tight underwear.
I do hate it when photographers attempt to be clever with the lighting and spoil a perfectly good shirtless picture of Kiwi rugby player Benji Marshall, or over lighting the subject (and a visit from Captain Photoshop) like with Simon Mannering. Fellow New Zealander Sonny Bill Williams solves the problem by practicing for the night on a beach away from lighting rigs.
Call me a size queen but if you are modelling underwear you have to fill it just a bit or it looks rather limp (even close up). Overfilling it does concentrate attention on the filling not the packaging (easily solved by hideous sunglasses), but isn't that the point of underwear? The perfect underwear makes the best of anything that fills it and doesn't make it look odd.
And to end footballers with odd names (at least to the Anglo-Saxon ear) Gonzalo Higuain being probed while shirtless and Szabolcs Huszti about to throw his shirt away.
