American actor Guy Wilson's character gets chained up shirtless by some villagers (oh the ideas) and experiences change (hence all the over the topness) in Werewolf: The Beast Among Us
.On the Aussie soap Neighbours Taylor Glockner is finding that he (like Luke Pegler and Chris Milligan) is only allowed to enter a kitchen with his top off. I believe that the overacting is solely down to Taylor.
