I wander through each charted street

I was in London last night and most of today. In the 'nice bit' of Euston which I suspect is the bit where the whore and rent boys don't have drug habits, at a friend's house...well flat.

I looked out the window as I had my coffee at all the poor sods walking to work from Euston Station. Why? We live in a technological age. People should be working from home. If you aren't working from home then you are silly. If I want to I can spend the whole day in my dressing gown (which admittedly does cause a few raised eyebrows in Somerfields), you commuting lot can't. When I finish work, the commute to my sofa is around 34 second, 76 if I go via the kitchen, not an hour on a hot smelly train. You may have guessed I've been there, done that, and nearly got a shotgun and taken out the coffee machine.

I'm not a big city type of chap. If I wanted to be crammed with a lot of people in a concrete world I'd apply for a job at York University. Also why do fat smelly men and women have to wear sleeveless tops and hold the things that hang down...no dangle...you know from a tube train's roof. Can't Red Ken send them Sure for Ape? But London's great I'm told and as if too sell the place to me I'm told I could get a coffee 24 hours a day in London. I can in Oxford, I go to my kitchen, switch on the kettle and you can guess the rest. But there's all the clubs to go to. Yes and a thing called money. Sadly my father did not leave me Dorset and bits of Somerset in his will (partly because he's still alive) and I'm not an 'It chap' who gets invited to inane parties full of the unearned wealthy (I lie have been to Magdalen College).

Talking about Oxford University Jack Ashdown-Hobbs (I am pondering why the value of his parents house is of any interest) has been doing his bit for Oxford...we do produce a better quality of thug here. Shame poor Jack has been hit by the ugly stick.

Enough about Bill's hatred of London.
